Hello, my name is Nicolette Devito. I attended The University of Scranton and graduated in May 2024 with a degree in Social Media Strategy, Public Relations and Advertising. Throughout my first three years of college I played lacrosse. Being a student athlete, I became very interested in sports media. This led me to securing multiple internships and opportunities to manage social media accounts in the sports world and broadcasting for my schools sports teams. Most of what I did at these internships was take photos in order to create content to put up on various different social media accounts. I also paid attention to trends, learned how to use new software to make videos. I also became accustomed to keeping track of analytics in order to heighten engagement success. I also had the amazing opportunity to work for The New Jersey Devils. This showed me the fast paced and exciting world of working in sports first hand.
